Meet the Founder & Managing Director: Dr. Aaron Farrugia
Dr. Aaron Farrugia is an Economist, Doctor of Laws, Member of Parliament and Malta’s non-resident Ambassador to the International Maritime Organisation.
He specialises in international trade and investment agreements, global connections, FDI policies, emerging markets and developing countries, international investment facilitation framework, free trade agreements and global value chains.
He is a United States Department of state’s International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) alumnus (2012) and a Friends of Europe (40 under 40) alumnus (2017).
He was elected as a member of Parliament in 2017 and was re-elected for a second consecutive time in the 2022 General Election.
He previously served as Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects and Minister for the Environment, Climate Change & Planning and as Parliamentary Secretary for European Funds and Social Dialogue.
Between 2008 and 2013, Aaron was Malta’s policy advisor to the five members of the Maltese Delegation in the Committee of the Regions and later on was appointed by Government as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Malta Freeport Corporation, Malta’s free trade zone.

This was not panic confined to the fringes. Singapore-based wealth advisers reported that several of their Dubai-based clients, each holding an average of $50 million in assets, contacted them that same week, with some requesting immediate transfers.

24th September 2024I enjoyed my stay in Cannes, with the stunning French Riviera serving as the perfect backdrop to the 47th edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival. During my visit, I explored yachts and superyachts of all shapes and sizes, participated in numerous walkthrough tours of boats, and discovered the latest trends in yachting that blend style, elegance, innovation, performance, and sustainability. Most importantly, I had the chance to meet yacht builders, brokerage firms, and service providers.
